During Sundays, many churches hold worship services. if you go to church on Sunday, then you are doing something good. It is a way of commemorating the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, which happened on the first day of the week which is Sunday. There are a lot of people today who do not worship God at any day but this is actually one of the ten commandments to worship God one day our of seven. Below are some reasons why you need to go to church.<\/p>\n
You need to go to church to worship God. Worship shows that you love God. Loving God above all other things is God’s first commandment. During Sunday worship, we sing praises to God and listen to the Bible being peached so that we can see His glory and worship Him as a result. It is a duty of Christians to worship God on His holy day. And so this gives us one reason to go to church.<\/p>\n
We also go to church to hear the word of God preached and learn from it. The preacher teaches the word of God from the pulpit each day of worship. When we listen to the Word of God preaches, we get to know God Himself, what He did for us, how to worship Him, and how to live our lives properly. The Bible has many great truths to teach us about God and about man. And if you diligently listen to the Word of God being preached on Sunday, then you will learn a lot about God’s word and how to apply it in all aspects of your life.<\/p>\n
Another reason why we go to church is to meet up with the fellow believers. Our gathering together shows that we are one body in Christ. Here we get to meet people who have the same faith and belief as we have. There is a time to share our joys and our burdens to fellow Christians. We can share our blessings with fellow believers. Here we confess our sins to each other. Since God has commanded us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, so we gather together on a Sunday to worship God and to fellowship with other believers.<\/p>\n
There are many churches today where you can worship God and be one with his people. Just be careful that you go to a church that honors the Word of God and not some teachings made by men. What is great about going to church on Sunday is learning more about the Word of God and having a blessed time of fellowship with fellow believers in God.<\/p>\n
